On the Counter This Month: Process Coffee
Each month at Weekend, we feature a different roaster on the counter — coffees we believe in, from people doing things the right way.
Rad coffee. Rad people. Rad stories.
Every now and then, a coffee lands on the counter that just feels like us. Process Coffee is one of those.
Roasted in Belfast, Process is a brand built on story, craft, and a genuine love for coffee at every level — from producer to cup. But what caught our eye first wasn’t just the coffee. It was the packaging.
Process’s VHS-inspired design feels like something pulled from another time — bold, nostalgic, and full of character. It’s playful, a little retro, and completely intentional. The kind of thing you want to pick up, turn over in your hands, and keep long after the coffee’s gone.
It’s more than packaging — it’s a reminder that coffee, like film, is about capturing moments. Small, everyday rituals that become something bigger over time. Future fond memories, made one cup at a time.
Right now, we’re pouring a Guji from Ethiopia — a region known for producing coffees that are bright, expressive, and full of life.
This one is exactly that. Clean and vibrant, with delicate fruit notes and a softness that lingers. It’s the kind of coffee that rewards slowing down — letting it cool, noticing how the flavours and shift with each sip.
Brewed as a pour-over, it really comes into its own. Nothing hidden, nothing rushed — just clarity, balance, and character in the cup.
On the counter this month — while it lasts.
